Have you watched a YouTube video and forgotten its title? You may also have forgotten the video’s channel name or the channel owner’s name.

Have you tried different ways to locate the video on YouTube and still failed?

Just as you’re giving up the idea of looking for the video, you remember that you have a picture of the video.

You may have taken a screenshot of the thumbnail or a frame from the video.

If you’ve done so, you may be in luck.

You may find the YouTube video with the help of the picture.

Here’s a trick many do not know about.

To find a YouTube video with a picture you would have to use Google’s image search facility.

Here are the steps on how to go about it.

Step 1 – Head to Google Image Search

Go there by clicking on this link – images.google.com

Once you’re on the Google images page, click on the camera icon.

Step 2 – Upload an Image File

You’ll be given two options either upload a file or enter the image URL.

Here we’ll choose to upload a screenshot of the video we made some time back.

Let’s upload this image file following the steps in the screenshot below.

Step 3 – Locate the Suitable Match in Search Results

Browse through the results to see the best match for the image.

Step 4 – Click on Listing to Go to YouTube

Click on the best visual match and you’ll be taken to the YouTube video related to the image.
