One of the attractions of connecting your Android TV box to your TV is to watch streaming video.For that your Android T V box needs to be connected to the Internet. You can do this in two ways – wired or wireless.
The wired connection is the easiest and the most stable. It is also called the Ethernet connection.
You plug in a LAN cable from the Android TV Box to your modem or router and you’re done. Your Android TV Box is now connected to the Internet.
If your TV set is quite a distance away from your modem or router, then you would want to connect it through a WiFi.
How do you do that?
It’s similar to how you connect your Smartphone to Wifi.
You would have to go to settings and look for the Wifi Panel and activate it.
Your Wifi username will be detected and you’ll be prompted to enter your password.
Once done, you’ll be connected to the Internet. Once connected to the Internet, you can watch streaming videos from free services like YouTube or from subscription-based services like Netflix.
