My First Video Editing Magazine

While cleaning my study I stumbled upon (probably )the first magazine on video editing that I bought in 1995.

If you're just starting out in video editing, flip through  this magazine and you will realise how lucky you're to have the options you have today. It was a hardware world those days. Even for a simple task like adding titles to your video.

Take this piece of hardware for instance.

The `New' TM 2000  which had gone down in price.

After the price had gone down it was only 599 pound sterling. Now how much is that in US$? What would that amount get you these days?

Certainly 599 pounds was big money back in 1995. Would you have spent that much money to buy an equipment just to punch in titles to your video?

These were some of the fonts you got.

Some of you probably would not touch these  fonts with a barge pole but back then it was state-of-the art video titling.

Just look at the Blushing Bride.

I guess she would want the title redone with the latest NLE program with 3D-effects.
